Dr. Jason Strandberg
Deciding on a Career in Chiropractic
As a high school basketball player, Dr. Strandberg injured his knee. The orthopedic surgeon said a sprained ACL could be treated by surgery and rehabilitation or rehabilitation as a stand-alone therapy. Dr. Strandberg chose the non-surgical option, involving physical therapy and chiropractic. This experience made him decide on chiropractic as a future career path.
Dr. Strandberg completed a degree at Luther College in music and premed. Then, he moved on to Northwestern Health Sciences University to earn a Doctor of Chiropractic. He has also studied osteopathic medicine. The additional certifications he has earned include sports medicine rehabilitation and occupational health.
Connecting With You
As a doctor, Dr. Strandberg understands the importance of caring for each patient as an individual. He is thorough and will make you feel comfortable from the first moment you meet him. It’s his passion to help people get better, particularly when they’ve been suffering and are unsure whether they will get results.
An extreme extrovert, Dr. Strandberg loves making connections and getting to know people. He is one of three sons and is close in age to his brothers, one of whom is a pilot, and the other a computer programmer educator. His family is close and spent much of his childhood gathered together at his grandmother’s cabin and playing baseball, basketball and football.
Outside of Practice
Today, Dr. Strandberg is a family man who plays piano and sings in the church choir. You might be surprised to learn that he was a keyboard player in a band that had a number-one hit in the Philippines! The band played the R&B/funk music that was popular back in the 90s, and he even got to tour around Manila.
Dr. Jason is married with three children. As a family they enjoy going for bike rides, skiing, making music together, and just spending time together as a family.
Dr. Jason is available to consult with your organization and do public speaking on wellness in the workplace, exercise and health, and ways to improve your performance in a daily life. Call to find out more.
